Upon returning home and getting help to unpack it, I found a hole in the back of the buffet and a broken leg. I immediately contacted the seller, but, predictably, received no reply. I ended up opening a case on Etsy, which allowed me to get a refund for both the buffet and shipping. Finally, the seller responded, saying they would provide details for the item’s pickup. However, when I didn’t hear anything back, I reached out again, only to be told to just discard the buffet.

I ordered furniture from them on Etsy; spent a couple grand. Big mistake. No communication from them; no response to messages about when they would ship. I placed an order with The Painted Cottage through Etsy.com on May 3, 2020. On the same day, I received an email saying my order had been shipped, followed by another email confirming its delivery. However, I never actually received my order. I tried several times to reach out to The Painted Cottage but received no response. Eventually, I had to file a fraud dispute with my credit card company to get a refund. It seems this is a frequent issue with this company, as they take people's money without sending the items and do not respond to customer inquiries.
Terrible customer service. When I entered the restaurant, I looked around and couldn't find any staff members. The only thing I found was someone else's half-eaten lunch. After wandering around and searching for someone to assist me, I was finally approached by a lady who didn’t bother to look up from her phone while I spoke to her. I discovered that almost none of the prices were available in-store, so I checked their website and was disappointed to find that the prices were quite inflated. The only positive aspect of this place was leaving it.

I've been experiencing numerous difficulties with this company. I've sent emails and left messages, but I haven't received any response. They have some really nice products, but I've decided to cancel my order due to their lack of attention. I've also declined the charges and informed them of this. I really wish they could be a better option.
Horrible customer service. Just try to find someone to wait on you. They act like they're doing you a big favor by acknowledging your presence. Since I was just shopping there for Dixie Belle products, I'll drive a longer distance just because to get better service.
It's a lovely establishment, but I encountered a few issues that brought my rating down to 3 stars.
I had a wonderful experience with them. The bed is beautiful.
