Palais Indien - Réserver une table

I love Indian cuisine. I memorized their name by heart . I was craving for Indian in Montreux. I Foud 2 places near by each other . Fate brought me to this one . We arrived at 9pm , closing was at 10:30. This place puts Indian food to shame . The rice was bitter and cold . The masala was so terrible I couldn’t describe it. We basically didn’t eat at all and paid for it . Maybe some of you would say , it’s because you came an hour and a half before closing . So no reason you were served the left overs !!!!

1. location is interior as compared to rest but vevey is a small place for anything to be far. 2. walkable from lake 4. best interior and has outside sitting place 3. service is poor 4. person serving doesn't understand indian food so be careful 5. food quality is a concern for chicken tikka. I was given a red color chicken piece which was far from authentic chicken tikka 6. dal and roti makes sense if you have other options of indian restaurant in vevey then please go ahead.

I was quite disappointed with the flavour, this is not what good Indian food tastes like and Ive eaten a lot of different types of Indian food. We definitely don't garnish our dishes with basil, that is just wrong in so many ways. I would not recommend eating here, definitely not worth the price.

I would avoid this place if you are planning on eating good Indian food. The quality is disappointingly bad and the prices are relatively high. Place is run down, toilets flooded and there's a noticeable lack of hygiene.

The food was nice enough and prompt service.
