The service was outstanding from the moment we arrived at the valet to the farewell from the host. Entering the restaurant felt like stepping into an art deco masterpiece. Our table, like others, was elegantly set with black linen and an Albacore scarf, surrounded by silver utensils and a stunning hand-blown water glass. Creative dishes that are very well-prepared and beautifully plated. Palette brings a nice touch of class and fun to SOMA in San Francisco. The duck confit tacos were savory and paired nicely with the mole and pickled vegetables. The miso cod was sadly only so-so. However, the beef tartare was wonderful and the beets complemented the flavors really well. The buttermilk fried chicken bites were good though the salmon roe on top didn't quite work for me. The cocktails here are inventive though the black cap mushroom cocktail with Bourbon was a bit too medicinal for me. The service here is top notch and a solid five stars.
I highly recommend this restaurant without a doubt. We had an incredible time celebrating our anniversary here. Everything was exceptional, from the service to the food and the atmosphere. I want to highlight a couple of dishes: the tuna carpaccio and the rib eye—they were both delicious. I also strongly suggest trying the wine pairing; the entire wine selection was fantastic. A special mention goes to their master sommelier, Jeremiah, who was outstanding. Thank you to everyone for making our evening so memorable. We can't wait to return and share this experience with our friends.

Phenomenal service and atmosphere, warm and friendly staff just like family and made the dining experience very comfortable. Detailed-oriented with everything such as platform, dishes, and even color choices for food ingredients in each dish was amazing. Tasty food as well as great presentation. I dined in the gallery, which offers a pleasant ambiance and is less crowded than the main dining area. Most dishes range from $20 to $30. The bone marrow is phenomenal. The cocktails are quite good as well, with a strong focus on Absinthe, which I'm not particularly fond of. But hey, what can you do?
