Palm Court Italian Grill

The moment my wife and I walked in we could feel the lovely atmosphere coming from the clean surroundings and fantastic aromas. With white crisp table cloths our waiter, Abdella, began our evenings of fine wine and dinner. He was a tremendous waiter in every respect. To end the evening, Chef Bill came to our table, checking to see if our meal was satisfactory. His meal presentation matched the flavorful, mouthwatering choices will had of Penne Alle Vodka and Parmmigiana D Melanzane V. Chef Bill also gave us some great tips on where to visit while at St. Petersburg.

I've been visiting Tradewinds since the 1980s and have dined here multiple times, but it has often left me disappointed. However, this time, with Chef Bill in the kitchen, we experienced a truly exceptional meal. The calamari fritti was unique and delicious, though I did miss the tentacles. I tried a distinctive take on penne alla vodka that was outstanding. For my main course, I had Saltimbocca served over risotto, which was also quite different and something truly special. Our waiter, Matt, provided excellent service throughout the evening.

Although my shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta was somewhat overcooked, the flavors remained enjoyable. The highlight of the meal, however, was undoubtedly the cheesecake with raspberry sauce – it was absolutely amazing and unparalleled in my experience. Despite the restaurant's inviting atmosphere and the minor disappointment with my main course, I chose to give it a three-star rating.

The calamari was terrible, it’s a strange cut that feels like clam strips and fried cheese bits. The burrata was soured- tomato slices paper thin and yellow. The pasta entrees were ok but grossly overpriced. I’m not sure how this made the top list of places to eat but I’m sorry it did because it’s really pricey. Pastas for $30 should taste better than this. Réservez une table maintenant

I expected far more than I got at this restaurant. We were placed outside without any fans and the bugs were annoying. The waiter Francis, held himself in very high regard. The shrimp and scallop pasta was good but not outstanding. Others in the group said the food was good but overpriced. I’m not sure I would go back to this restaurant.

The carpaccio was absolutely amazing. Our seafood dishes were top-notch as well. The service was attentive without being overwhelming. It made for a beautiful anniversary dinner! We had the best meal during our time in St. Pete Beach. The grouper was amazing! Chef Bill and our server Hassan provided excellent service. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. I highly recommend this place!

The food and service were satisfactory, but the steep prices raise doubts about the overall value. I would rate the service a 4 out of 5 and the atmosphere a 3 out of 5. I recommend trying the Palm Court Bruschetta. Réservez une table maintenant

Caroline was very friendly upon check in for our reservation. Abdellah was a very attentive and excellent waiter! Overall great service!
