It's a great restaurant for a quick bite, I go alone or invite friends and love chicken shawarma platter with rice, salad and humous! The big test is when I invite Arabs to dine with me and they comment on the flavors used in the lamb kabab and the special seasonings of the chicken shawarma and off course it is Halal which is an added plus to giving this restaurant a 4/5...What won my heart is the amazing catering I made with a lunch and dinner group. Great service! We all love the special home made bread they use to wrap the sandwich. Lentil soup is a must and their portions are generous. I gave the restaurant high points for the quality food and unique flavors that are different than other...
I wish I had a picture but my boyfriend and I were starving and just chowed down. The food was reasonably priced, there's a lot of food on a $10 plate! We were happy and full afterwards. I had the chicken plate and he had the lamb. <br/ <br/ The chicken was very flavorful and I enjoyed the lamb my boyfriend shared with me. Our meal was very delicious and filling, it tasted like it was homemade and made with a lot of love. The place was very clean and the kitchen looked spotless. All in all, we had tasty food and a nice clean place to eat at Palmyra. It was a pleasant experience; I'll probably head back very soon!
This is one of my top Middle Eastern restaurants in Surrey, BC that I frequently recommend to my friends and family. The menu is exceptional, with dishes that are flavorful and reminiscent of homemade meals, especially their special bread. I have also utilized their catering service for both dinner and sandwich options during special church events.
This place has ridiculously good food. The shawarma is beautifully spiced and cooked. The falafel are crispy and crunchy on the outside and so soft on the inside. The lentil soup is a beautiful texture and has excellent flavour. The rice is also cooked to perfection. Great portion sizes and prices too. No complaints! All excellent! Delicious! <br/ <br/ Restaurant was super clean, and the food was awesome.<br/ <br/ The home made pita bread took it to the next level. The veggies were fresh and seasoned and all the flavor was there. So good. We have been to 3 similar places in the area now and that one by far leads them all. We will be back many times!
Update: Tried their Lamb Gyro Wrap for lunch and it was really good. The lamb was nicely seasoned and paired well with their hot sauce and dressing. The restaurant was spotless this time, which we assumed was due to being busy during our previous visit. For this reason, I am giving them a perfect score of 5.
Love love love this place! Its the closest thing to “mama’s homecooked” food. I love the authenticity of the food, you wont feel guilty eating this everyday. You can tell its made fresh and the spices are heavenly, (lots and lots and lots). Staff are polite and service is superb. Definetly recommend!
