I ordered two soups, but when I got home, I realized they had only sent one. I called the restaurant, and the person I spoke to said he could send the missing soup via DoorDash and took my address. However, after waiting an hour and a half, I still hadn’t received my soup, and the restaurant had closed for the night. This location really needs to improve its service. It seems like there are frequent mistakes with orders, and it’s clear that management isn’t doing a good job. I was let down by the service during my visit, as there was very little communication and the staff appeared unfriendly. The employee who took my order didn’t seem enthusiastic about her job. When I requested a knife from another worker, I was given one that was noticeably dirty, stained with what seemed to be butter or mayonnaise. This was my worst experience at this restaurant. Clearly, they need to hire staff who understand the importance of good customer service, which is currently lacking. They should focus on improving the quality of their team.
In the end, they kindly offered to make us a new meal, and as we were deciding what to order, pizza dough suddenly showed up from the back—wherever it had been. The new pizzas arrived within 10 minutes, and we also received a free pizza and two pastries as compensation. Although we appreciated the gesture, it didn’t erase the frustration of the experience. This place seems to be going downhill, and I can't justify spending money here given the poor service.
I ordered the chicken salad sandwich, but I found that there was more lettuce than chicken salad in it. This was actually the second time I experienced this issue; I initially thought the first instance was just a one-off mistake. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I even returned the sandwich and asked for a replacement, but it was just as disappointing. For a sandwich that costs a fair amount, I expected more than just bread and lettuce.
