I usually have my go-to favorites at Panera, like the Chai, blood orange lemonade, tomato soup, and broccoli mac and cheese (both the cup and bread bowl). Their baked goods also make for great snacks. However, on this visit, I decided to try something different: the Modern Caprese, inspired by dishes I love at other non-franchise restaurants. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment.
I wish I had taken a picture before I pulled it apart because it ended up looking like a hawk had torn it apart. I want to be clear that the employees were not at fault here. It seems that whoever is responsible for updating the menu items at corporate didn't convey how the Modern Caprese should be prepared...
the food was outstanding as always! i highly recommend going here, hungry or maybe even not hungry! this food is so filling and delicious that no one can resist it. especially not me!! the service here is amazing aswell. everyone is so kind and helpful.Vegetarian options: there are many options for vegetarians. and they are all very good.Parking: large numbers of spots and you can always be able to park.Kid-friendliness: me, personally, always came here as kid. i still do! i loved it so much and kids love it here. there many food choices for them too.
The customer service here leaves such a bad taste in my mouth. The associates are overtly unfriendly and offer bare minimum assistance. They seem they would rather not be bothered by customers. I have only experienced this attitude here at the Deerfield store, nowhere else. I will not be bothering to come back here. I will actually go out of my way to go to Any Other Panera. I am tired of feeling offended.
I recommend you be prepared for them to run out of many ingredients by the evening. I've also had my order mistakenly given to someone else. After submitting a complaint through the app about my experience, I was offered a gift certificate, but it was taken back before I could use it. Every visit here has had its problems. I won't be returning.

Amazing people that saved me when I was the one that made the mistake! They were so helpful and rushed an order when they did not have to.
They get my order wrong every time! I've clearly explained what I want, yet somehow they still manage to make mistakes with my order.
Coffee and pastry . Pastry-almond Baird was fresh and tasty.The chicken soup wasn't hot enough. No waiting in self order- kiosk.
Still a good value even after COVID and the food selections are healthy and tasty! Pick-2 is my favorite deal.
