Panka Peruvian Bistro

The food was excellent, the waitress was attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The musician was friendly (we sat at the table next to him.) The restaurant is conveniently located near the Capital Theatre, where we later attended a show. The only downside was that they did not have our OpenTable reservation in their system. Thankfully, we arrived early so we were seated, but this could have been a major issue if we arrived later. I will need to address this.

Panka is a truly fantastic restaurant with a creative kitchen. The attention to detail in the dishes was impressive, especially the delicate octopus and flaky empanadas. The appetizers were also crafted with care, and our server was knowledgeable and eager to assist with menu choices. We will definitely be returning to Panka.

My dining partner and I really enjoyed our dinner at Panka. We opted for the house ceviche and the seafood mariscos, both of which were flavorful and delicious. The service was gracious, our water glasses were continuously refilled and our dinner was served quickly. An enjoyable pre-concert meal.

Naomi, our waitress, was excellent! However, the restaurant itself was just decent. The food did not meet my expectations - my seafood dish with rice was too soupy for my liking. My daughter ordered her usual shrimp saltado and thought it was just okay. Réservez une table maintenant

Food- very uneven- Salmon- so overcooked it was hard and dry- Squid Ink Quinoa- delicious- Grilled Octopus- mushy- Roasted Chicken- excellent Service- had to wave someone down to take our order Ambiance- tables close together-rather noisy

We made a reservation via Open Table, but when we arrived the restaurant was full and they had not held our reservation. The staff was rude and unhelpful. We never ended up getting a table.

excellent steak court with plantains yuca. delicious redisserie style huhn. talented gitarrist. and perfect location for concert at the kapitol, even when it rains. 2 blocks away.
