Our expectations were not too high due to the three stars and some critical evaluation. We were then positively surprised on site, because the hotel really has a good location, great, free parking, a beautiful panorama and also the facility is perfectly fine. Some areas are apparently freshly renovated. The rooms are completely ok, if our room could use a new white paint. The hotel management as well as the staff who were on site during our stay convinced everyone with a friendly appearance. Breakfast for 10 euros is also positive. Small criticism: The agitator was there only 20 minutes after buffet start.

It's a pretty nice hotel located above the city. The outlook from there is a breathtakingly beautiful one. The hotel's staff is very nice and welcoming. The rooms are equipped in a spartanic way, but by far good enough to stay for a while. The breakfast is okay, the choice of bread might be better regarding whole grain products. Put in a nutshell, it's a nice place to stay for a couple of days. Would recommend it.
An excellent place for staying and dining, dullly located in the seeworthy Werratal, the country of Mrs. Holle .Nahe the Hohen Meißner, held in the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm.Fearly, the Kochsberg was a youth training place of the Werra Meißner County, today a prestigious meeting hotel, but also highly recommended for individual travelers and tourists. I have been there more often to eat, the menu and the service are very good all the staff of the restaurant are very accommodating and polite especially to children one is very friendly here, what one finds rather rare.I always feel very comfortable and can only recommend it.
