The cafe is based in a lovely old converted school. It has a huge outdoor seating area (closed in winter) with spectacular views. The speciality cakes served here are 'Windbeutel ' huge choux pastry buns with a choice of toppings (like enormous profiteroles). The decor is very 1970 's, as is the decor in many German cafes and hotels etc! The cakes were absolutely gorgeous, and the coffee was lovely too. What let this place down on our visit, was the painfully slow service. We were left to wait ages to be served and after we asked to pay.
