Papas Tacos Mexican Food

Local Mexican shop run by a very nice lady in the front. Good value for what you pay for and it's located in the Bankers Hill area of downtown San Diego. Great Carne Asada and fish tacos. If you are in the area it is definitely worth taking a look and grabbing some good food in a mellow part of town.

Best Taco shop in SD. I was everywhere and that's my favorite. Great house made enchilada sauce. Heck, even the beans are delicious. Every ingredient just meets. Skip the city center (I live in downtown and all prices are paid). That's the real deal.

So my husband got a flight of tacos and the big quesadilla. The fish tacos are absolutely fantastic. <3 Asada with Guac was a jam, and the Pastor was also killer. Had to take the quesadilla home because we all need a reason to live.

So delicious. Fresh, handmade tortillas. Fresh guacamole. I got the shrimp plate and it had just the right amount of spice. The sauce wasn't overly creamy and the shrimp was cooked to perfection.

Amazing Taco Shop. Great service and very clean. Six seven large sanitizer available and a sign encouraging their use. Large menu with plenty of Veggie options. My go to when in San Diego.
