GREAT spot with outstanding food, fast friendly service, and great prices. We were hesitant when we say the location, as we are traveling from another state and the strip mall looked a bit rustic , but we are SO GLAD we stepped inside!We had the Enchiladas Poblanas, street tacos, and queso. All of the food was served piping hot and was robust and flavorful. The salsa was fresh and spicy we absolutely loved it. Horchata was wonderful, too.Can 't wait to return on our next visit to Arlington and try additional things. Dietary restrictions: Lots of options; staff was helpful in answering questions. Parking: Tons of parking for the strip mall.
The first time I ate here was when I ordered their tres leche cake. I like their cake because it doesn’t have all the extra fruit on it. Ever since then, I would only come here when I had a taste for some tres leche cake. Never tried their food before till now! OMG!!! I’ve been missing out on some good Mexican food! Hard to find good authentic Mexican food around Arlington and with good service. We had ordered their beef and cheese enchiladas dinner and steak shrimp and sausage fajita. My husband had the shredded beef burrito! They did not disappoint! My craving was met! Thank you!
No wait at 6pm!The food is delicious. The only critique I have is for them to toast the tortillas. The salsa they serve with the chips when you sear is above average with a slight kick.We ordered the Papaya Sampler, it that was so gooooooud. We devoured it within minutes.This is a true Tex-Mex restaurant!My only regret is not getting a spicy cucumber margarita.We need one in Fort Worth.Tacos de alambre are very savory. The carne is grilled to perfection and the cheese, bell pepper, and sausage is the combo!We will be back!
GREAT food!!!! All fresh. Best taco spot I've ever eaten at!!!Ordered a 3 taco plate with guacamole and cheese, got free FRESH chips and FRESH salsa. Grease still on the chips fresh....Even the beans were good lol. Rice so freshly fried that is had melted some of the styrofoam!!!!! Absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be back for more. I highly recommend you at least try them out.

I usually judge a Mexican restaurant by how good their tortilla soup is, and today I tried Papaya's. It is, hands down, one of the BEST tortilla soups I've ever had in my life. Everything else that I've had here has also been excellent. The margaritas are amazing no skimping here! If you're looking for authentic flavors and great service, Papaya's is it!
Today me and my family visited Papaya Mexican Grill, and OMG! The service is great and fast, the serving sizes are HUGE! And most importantly in this economical climate we live in currently, the prices are AWESOME! 5 stars across the board!
Shop front, intimate little place. KILLER flavors, amazing fast service. Had the poblano chicken enchiladas, with a yummy margarita. Queso and salsa were delicious as well! Good bang for your buck too. Authentic and worth a try
Such great food for surprisingly good prices! They were able to accommodate my request for a vegetarian friendly option as well. Overall, this my new favorite Mexican restaurant in the area!

Prompt and polite service today A good value for the price I paid, 3-crispy taco dinner included Rice and beans and chips and salsa. My soft drink was huge, and my tacos were overflowing!
Good food and cocktails. I had a cheeseburger with fries lol. It was definitely a good choice. I had a margarita which was delicious. I will go again!
