We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. A miscommunication on Google directed us to this charming spot. After walking the entire length of the boardwalk, we discovered that the restaurant wouldn’t open for another hour! With a group of nine, including five restless children, we were quite hungry! Thankfully, the bartender was incredibly understanding and resourceful, allowing us to order drinks and appetizers while we waited for the dining room to open. We were treated to a stunning view of Perce Rock and Bonaventure Island, and even got to see some whales breaching while we passed the time! When dinner finally arrived, the food was incredib...
This has been the best restaurant experience in Perce to date. Everything was excellent, starting with the warm welcome from the hostess to the attentive service from our waitress. We opted for the table d'hôte, which included a delicious and piping hot soup that paired wonderfully with the bread. For our main course, we both chose the grilled chicken pasta, which was outstanding, and the noodles were cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed the coffee and a chocolate pie with a crushed nut base, both of which were delightful. We truly loved our experience here and would definitely come back again.
Très bien mangé mais il fasait vraiment chaud dans la pièce!! La serveuse a cependant été très gentille lorsque j’ai demandé de changé de place car le chauffage fonctionnait en été. Ils ont tout de suite réajusté le tir et j’ai senti l’air climatisé partir pas longtemps après. Somme toute, je recommande! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Réservez une table maintenant
Seafood chowder was the best we have had. Recommended! The seafood platter for two was delicious. Expensive, yes, but good seafood is expensive. Gaspésienian-style cod was just ok, but needed a little more flavour. The chocolate tart was good with the walnut crust. The key lime pie was very tart, which is how I like it.
