As a very consistent and regular driving range customer at most of the ranges in Brisbane, I got excited when finding a top tracer range was within a couple of hours of my new place after moving interstate. On arrival I was disappointed that the venue charges extra to use the Top Tracer system which isn’t on every lane. As there are lessons from pros in location this would enhance diagnostics for technique correction. The range is very short so if you have the power to hit 300yards or more you are clearing the fence. This is not something the staff were comfortable in seeing, if you want to keep balls within the 170m fence either build the fence higher like the Top Golf venues or don’t have a long drive system which may attract big hitters. The hitting mats where very worn and an increase of size variety and quantity of tees is needed. If these points are acknowledged it may help in attracting more customers, which means more money. For an area of a slightly upper class demographic the venue looks like an abandoned theme park in America.

My boyfriend and I dined at the restaurant during a not super busy night. Another couple sat down and ordered after us and got their food first and when I asked the waiter if our food was going to be ready soon he waved his hand at me, grunted and walked off. We were offended but decided to try to enjoy the night. After we had finished eating, my boyfriend asked for a quiet word with the waiter because he wanted to make it known that what the waiter did was incredibly rude. The waiter completely flipped out and started making aggressive gestures at my boyfriend and pointed his finger close to my face saying I'm rude. I'm in complete disbelief that this waiter is behaving like this, and the manager did nothing to try to calm the situation, and didn't even berate the waiter. What amazed me the most is as we were leaving, the waiter kept coming back and tried to pick a fight with my boyfriend. Don't go here unless you enjoy despicable behaviour from the staff.
