After visiting the Art Gallery in the morning, we went looking for lunch. At the MLC Centre, avoiding the food court downstairs, Paradiso was the first we came to in the care/restaurant area. The menu looked good (about mains choices, with variety, plus a...number of burgers salads) with prices that seemed appropriate for lunch around for the mains. Greeting from a french waitress was friendly polite, directing us to a choice of two suitable tables. We also had an English girl serving us, again very polite and friendly. it was probably one of the worst places I've ever been! When we sat down, we were told to hurry because the kitchen was closed. we ordered water. when the owner has brought some filled water and we explained that it was not what we ordered, he snapped when they want to go water, they help themselves show a table with some glasses on the other side of the restaurant. My food tasted good, but was so oily that I couldn't finish. when we had to pay, the owner accepted to share the bill, but not to pay with more than 2 cards and said they do what they want, but they don't get the meal free I will never go there again!
I had a lunch in this cafe restaurant situated in Martin place. The food is good and aswell the service but the worth point it was how the owners treat the staff so so bad. I saw specially a woman owner) screamed at...all the staff using bad words and treat them like if they were animals. They use a bell for call the staff like if they were slave and they approached with them very bad. People be away from this place...They have to learn that they really don't do hospitality but just a business job using staff(kitchen/floor) very very bad.
I was there with friends. The place is beautiful but the coffee is really bad and owner really really RUDE! Especially the woman. She was very agressive with her employees, we heard her screaming on her employees like a crazy woman using very bad words....She treated her employees like dogs. We we're very shocked, so bad for them. They looked so stressful and sad. Please don't go there!!! There is a really bad atmosphere and this coffee should be closed!!!

Today I went to this cafe for lunch and ordered a salad from the menu. I requested the waitress to remove items (feta and white vinagrette). Instead I requested some olive oil. The salad was OK. When the bill arrived I was shocked to...be charged AUD for the olive oil I requested even though I removed items from the salad itself. Even though the salad tasted fine I will not return to this place because of the additional charge for the olive oil.
A group of friends dined here for lunch pre-Xmas. The cafe is located in the MLC Centre upstairs from the food hall. The menu is extensive, although several items weren't available on the day. I had the prawn linguine which was delicious. All of...us enjoyed the food and I would happily go there again and try something different.
Was eyeing off other restaurants but met the gaze of owner George who beckoned me over. On a rainy day in Sydney, nothing better than a beautiful meal and a glass of Pinot. Great service from the wait staff and George came over during my...meal to check on me and chat when he could. Then there was vanilla slice...
Many items on the menu were unavailable. Ordered the Lamb Kofta which was only average as the lamb was cold. It came with a nice Greek salad, baba ganoush and pita bread. Probably wouldn’t return as there are many other choices nearby. Pleasant wait staff.

Food is always excellent quality for the price, the host George is always welcoming. An excellent outdoor lunch to break up a day in an office try the NZ Pinot noir he stocks, great with any meal !
I enjoyed a morning coffee here before an appointment in the MLC. Coffee was lovely and service was very friendly, nice tables to sit at in the morning sun. Thank you
