My wife and I came here with our 12 year old boy who was so looking forward to eating curry and cream mussels, and he sure wasn't disappointed. I had the same and I thought it was amazing! My wife had the brochette de boeuf and she loved it! We then each had a crepe for desert and all three were delicious, despite the fact that my crêpe flambé didn't "flambe", as the calvados wasn't hot enough. No biggie though. It was delicious. I would've given this 5 stars but the service was quite slow (not the waiters' fault as they were super nice and accommodating but I think they were just under staffed). Had to wait a good 20 minutes before someone took our order, after the owner told us someone else would take our order as she was going to have dinner. The one thing I found shocking was after mentioning to the barman that there was no more soap in the toilets, I was told that he didn't have time to replace it. Basically tough bananas! I would definitely recommend this restaurant for the food, the really nice waiters and the great view, but just don't expect the service to be too fast.
I dined here with my wife and two young children after a day on the beach just yards away. The kids had steak hache and pizza from the kids menu and me and my wife chose from the €13 menu du jour. Both excellent value and decent quality. Both me and my wife had the moule frite as a main and it was excellent.. But this dish tends to be excellent everywhere in Brittany. All in all a great place to eat after a day on the beach.
This welcoming restaurant is located right in front of the beach. The view is great, the owner is friendly and the food is diversified and at reasonable prices. You'll find some local specialities as well as a nice array of pizzas and pastas. Go for the marinated mussels (or with cream,), they are worth it !
There are 3 or 4 places to eat on this pretty beach in carentec not far from the michelin star place. The food won't be so refined but for a tourist based beach front place the food is really good with the set menus offering nice seafood. The view is great also and I found the service to be excellent.
