If I could give a zero star I would. Don 't try to purchase anything in this bakery if you don 't speak Spanish. I ordered a tres leche cake for my birthday last year, this year I am trying to do so as well because it 's one of my favorite. I called about 10 times no kidding, the attendants keep putting me on hold and then hanging up the phone. I said I was giving them a last chance I called again, I asked them if any one speak English, she said no, she understood that, butcouldn 't say no speak it English . So if you don 't speak their language don 't spend your money at this place. Customer service is horrible. To answer your question (owner) it was different time today 10/3/22
In response, they offered him a replacement cake of equal value. However, when he chose a chocolate cake from the display, it also had mold on the strawberries. The staff then became rude and disrespectful when my brother pointed this out. It’s disappointing that he received such poor service after spending his money there. I highly recommend being cautious when buying baked goods from this bakery, as you might also find mold when you get home. We will definitely not be returning for their services again.
I ordered the mini paisa and was quite disappointed, particularly with the beans, which were very pasty and seemed stale. The portion of chicharrón was smaller compared to what you typically get at other Colombian restaurants, but at least it tasted good. The plantains were dry and hard, and while the rice was a decent portion, the arepa was burnt. The steak, sausage, and egg were good, but nothing remarkable. Overall, I found their mini paisa to be below average.
Almost everything here is excellent and fresh. I order from here regularly, and the staff is incredibly kind. They always follow my specific instructions and greet me with a "good morning." They're truly wonderful people, and the service is fantastic overall. If you've had a bad experience while ordering through DoorDash or similar services, I assure you it's never because of the restaurant. Their food is consistently great and fresh! I visited this restaurant for the first time after a friend recommended their Colombian bread and desserts. As a Colombian, I can confidently say that the milhojas dessert was delicious and truly authentic. I also picked up some candies, while my friend enjoyed a juice and some bread, and everything was great. I’ll definitely return to try some more dishes!
So now this place is my go to breakfast for Colombian coffee served with warm milk as a standard and these delicious cheese breads! Bustling in the morning and I heard on the weekends! (I had first come yesterday for lunch and had some delicious comfort food, potatoes, beans and rice. Then tried the coffee and these Almojabana?s! Absolutely delicious!
We stopped by on our way from Ikea to pick up some bread. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere, and their breakfast menu looks very inviting. We decided to try the Chicken and Beef empanadas, which I thought were delicious. I also ordered a cholado, but it could have used a bit more fruit.
