We dined on a Saturday night before a show and the place was busy, but a reservation allowed us to be quickly seated. Ordered drinks from the bar and were also served quickly. Hubs got the short rib said it was good but not what he expected. Was hoping for great, though portion size was large with a side of mashed potatoes and all the peas one could want. I ordered filet, cooked perfectly as ordered with a side of broccoli. Ordered a stake with Oscar toppings lump crab but no lump crab only hollandaise sauce and the waitress was very argumentative. She stated she was a chef but couldn't show me a flake of crab. The spinach was runny the steak was overcooked and the poor asparagus was limp and soggy. The host called my phone during dinner to see if we were going to make our reservations. News flash we are here trying to make it threw dinner. This was our wedding day and my birthday what a disappointment
The dry aged steak was over cooked, dry, tough, had a bad non-beefy flavor and literally made me sick after the meal. The Caesar salad was bland. The smoked salmon dip was 99% cream cheese. The redfish and sides were bland. The rolls and butter were good. The truffle potatoes gratin were good but not great. Overall the food was very disappointing. I used to like this place and have been several times but they have seriously declined in quality. Not planning to return.
Awesome servers! Perfect recommendations! Amazing accommodations! And the best bathrooms that I’d totally live in (not saying I will but if I had the opportunity to build my dream home, a picture of their bathroom would definitely be on my Pinterest inspo board) And they brought me ice cold milk with dessert, just how I like it! Decided to dine here for one of my good friends birthday dinner after the first restaurant that we went to totally tanked. Glad that they decided to come because everything was amazing. Ross our server was on point, the food and drinks were delicious and the ambiance was stellar. Will definitely return for a date night.
