Food was decent but nothing worth trekking for. Had the Black Widow, onion rings and duck fat chips. Despite the black bun, the burger was not distinctive taste-wise and was basically saved by the sauce from being bland. Though the chips were good for chips, I could not taste the duck fat and had to eat them with tomato sauce to keep them from being dull. The onion rings were perfectly crisp, but like the others they were a bit boring flavour-wise. They were unable to make milkshakes when I came in, but judging by what I was able to have I could make an educated guess that they would be underwhelming. But the food came out quickly, and though the place is a little claustrophobic I didn't fee...

The Black Widow burger is pretty darn good. At $13, it’s not a huge burger nor does it come with fries (yes, sad face) but it does pack a punch. The bun is well, black, as the name suggests, from charcoal, though I’m honestly not too sure how it’s made. And I probably shouldn’t have enjoyed it so much, but the bun had clearly been grilled on the grill and so it also comes out a little greasy from cross contamination. The beef patty is juicy and fatty, and the best bit is that there were slices of jalapenos on it. Overall, an above-average burger. Full post at imhangry.net/2017/06/05/parlour-burger/
The food wasn't very good, my chicken burger wasn't cooked properly and the duck fat chips were also very bland. The service was good the waitress was very apologetic when I returned my food and she offered a refund or a replacement burger I got a replacement but it still wasn't very good. I won't be back.
The location and ambience of this place is dark and cramped, like an attic. You can't expect to enjoy a burger standing up, or stuck in the corner. I'd rate the burgers as 'alright', and nothing more. In contrast; their onion rings and duck fat chips definitely made my day, and go well with a beer. Réservez une table maintenant
Parlour burger is great value for money. It's not the best of anything- food, service, ambience - but it is quick and cheap. I'm told the price has gone up since I visited, but at the time, all burgers were $10. Good location. povochef.com.au
First meal in Sydney! Tried the black widow and it wasn't very special. Thought the bun would have a special unique taste but it was really just the colour ???? patty was cooked to a nice medium rare and service was ok. Lighting and setting of the place could be improved
Great value for money and really good burgers...! I had the fried chicken burger and it was really delicious. My friend had the dirty burger- which has a meat cooked to your liking with bacon and a cheesy beer sauce. The onion rings were amazing...!
Surprisingly good burgers, most notably the soft buttered buns. I ordered the onion rings as a side and I counted six. For the money, I expected more. Overall it was an enjoyably experience. Not fantastic but definitely worth checking out. Réservez une table maintenant
Overrpriced burgers with a tonne of salt of them. Its like biting into sand but sooo salty totally inedible. Service is also non existent and unfriendly. A million other better burger places around.
