Located at 225 George St beside The Morrison bar and Oyster Room we missed the entry so walked through from The Morrison, arrived about 7.30pm ish there were no free tables so we sat at the bar. <br/ Tiny little spot i would have to say. Thankfully a couple left so we snagged their table.<br/ <br/ Order at the bar and grab a number. Ben and I both got 'The Black Widow ' which is the charcoal bun with ground beef, Chipotle mayo and Jalapenos and the duck fat chips to share! <br/ <br/ Did not have to wait long, they arrived we devoured them and then we commented. <br/ The charcoal bun doesn 't really have a strong taste to it but it felt a wee bit odd eating a black bun alas that also made it...

I went back to Parlour Burger today with a trusted companion to share in all the glory burgers and greasy sides along with an ale or two.  The choice was was a little easier today as I have already tried the Black Widow which was a pretty special burger and unlike anything I have had before. My trusted companion decided to go with along with The Original Morrison cooked medium rare and I decided  to go along with the Chicken Quinoa Burger. Parlour Burger Ye Olde Menu I must say from the start I was not a happy chappy as it was busy and it took me around 10mins to be able to order due to some inconsiderate customers, however I finally got to order my burger and could sit down and enjoy my bee...

Known as one of Sydney’s cheapest burger joints, Parlour Burger is set in a classy sports bar ambience. Not the most easiest to find because it stays tucked in, off George Street within the Morrison Bar Oyster Room. Offering a steal deal of $10 for all burgers, some of them gourmet style, Parlour Burger is a thrifty man’s Grill’d alternative. We ordered their most famous burger, the Black Widow – spicy ground beef patty served between charcoal buns and the Original Morrison. We also got the Duck Fat Chips because it sounded very indulgent. The burger patties were juicy and packed a lot of flavour. The duck fat chips were quite unique as a side especially because most gourmet burger joints in...

...I found myself craving some beef, and remembered the diner-style addition to The Morrison that is Parlour Burger. Having eaten there in a hurry once on a work trip, I decided to pop in without the time pressure to satisfy my craving. Parlour Burger has a simple concept – five different burgers, $10 each – and has something for everyone’s tastes. I picked ‘The Original Morrison’, a beef burger with chipotle mayonnaise and decided not to have a side, despite being sorely tempted by the deep-fried pickles and the duck fat chips. You can choose to have your patty pink or cooked through – the menu recommends the pink option, so that’s what I went with. The burger came out quickly and was hot a... Réservez une table maintenant

The Black Widow burger is pretty darn good. At $13, it’s not a huge burger nor does it come with fries (yes, sad face) but it does pack a punch. The bun is well, black, as the name suggests, from charcoal, though I’m honestly not too sure how it’s made. And I probably shouldn’t have enjoyed it so much, but the bun had clearly been grilled on the grill and so it also comes out a little greasy from cross contamination. The beef patty is juicy and fatty, and the best bit is that there were slices of jalapenos on it. Overall, an above-average burger.<br/ <br/ Full post at imhangry.net/2017/06/05/parlour-burger/

Ordered the crispy chicken burger and apple/cabbage slaw. The slaw was fine. It has nuts in, which was an interesting twist. But the chicken burger wasn't the best. Slightly chewy chicken, and no way close to being crispy! I could barely notice any breading on the fillet. To the poster who said they have great ketchup I agree

After a difficult case competition, we took a short walk from the Deloitte offices to Parlour Burger to try the famous Charcoal Burger!. Black Widow Burger. Black Widow Burger. All four of us tried the Black Widow burger – a charcoal bun containing ground beef, chipotle mayo and jalepeno chilli, which I bravely left in.

First meal in Sydney! Tried the black widow and it wasn't very special. Thought the bun would have a special unique taste but it was really just the colour patty was cooked to a nice medium rare and service was ok. Lighting and setting of the place could be improved Réservez une table maintenant

Duck fat chips were not my favourite. They reminded me of the corner fish and chip shop chips of my childhood, which was nice in some respects but I prefer a fatter, crunchier chip.
