Amazing place. I was so impressed. The menu is creative without being fussy or simply to be different. There are extraordinary vegetarian and also vegan options..and these dont even stand out in looking at menu as being “different”. Had the celeriac… who would have thought it would be the perfectly delicious main for the plate! It was! Service was great. I had mentioned in reservation that my friend was celebrating birthday and a plate with delectable small tea cakes arrivec with Happy Birthday in chocolate.. I’m from US so cant make it a regular place to dine, but would otherwise
We had a really lovely anniversary meal on the patio here. We were incredibly impressed with the food and the service, and happily surprised by what extensive measures the staff took to make us comfortable during covid (masks, distancing, and plastic screens inside. The food was great, but the desserts were particularly excellent we got the treacle tart and chocolate cake and both were sublime.
We were shown to a window table which was pleasant although in a fairly dark corner. We ordered the risotto which was delicious and a delicious steak with a very fresh butter leaf salad The only downside was a dozen or so tiny persistent flies hovering over our table. Staff were very friendly and helpful
We sat in the covered courtyard which was lovely (they even had heaters and blankets available in case the evening got too chilly! , and everything was delicious. Our server was also incredibly friendly and helpful. ADORE this restaurant!

The Parsonage provides the perfect retreat for quiet business meetings over food. The breakfast menu is a delight, catering for all tastes. The service is impeccable. And the ambience quiet and relaxing.
A great venue for a quiet, leisurely lunch with old friends. Dry martinis at the bar, excellent food, a good choice of wines and our server, Lily, was charm personified.
We had an excellent dinner at the bar. Service was quick and friendly. Great soup. The risotto was great but a bit rich. A great find.
Really nice meal, delightful waitress, nice atmosphere though not cheap it was an excellent evening
