The gentleman who served us made us feel incredibly welcome and checked in on us throughout our meal; he might have even been the owner. Jazmin, our server, also took excellent care of us and was just as friendly. The trip had been very challenging, and this fantastic meal made a huge difference. The beef and broccoli was some of the best I've ever had. As a very picky eater, I was pleased to find that I liked every dish we ordered. Do yourself a favor—whatever you order, make sure to try the egg rolls and fried rice. They were absolutely delicious!
We decided to give this restaurant a try since it was the closest one to our hotel. I'm glad we did, as it turned out to be the best Chinese food I've had in a long time—even better than a highly recommended spot in London’s Chinatown. The menu was relatively simple, but the food was well-prepared, served hot, and absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, and the service was attentive and friendly. Overall, it was an excellent value for money.
Worth the thrilling experience of getting there at night from our motel during rush hour. Cream cheese wontons and pork egg rolls were warm, fresh, and VERY tasty! The General Tso's chicken was sweet and just spicy enough. The pork egg foo young was flavorful and wonderfully filling. We'll definitely try it again if we pass through here in the future!
Twice I have ordered Mandarin chicken and have gotten it covered in almonds. I have eaten at a lot of different Chinese places and this is the only one that has done this. Both times Ive ordered my fried rice without onions and both times they were loaded with onions. I won't be going back there and will never recommend them as a good place to eat. PAUL WONGS… what can i say? This establishment serves only the finest AMERICAN-CHINESE FUSION CUISINE. Every dish came out flavorful and on time, and the wait staff were exquisitely welcoming. The atmosphere created a fine dining experience for my students and I, and we will definitely return next time we are in the area.
I was in Port Allen working on a job and my fiancé loves Chinese food so we decided to check this place out. Hands down the best Chinese food I've ever had. Also, the customer service was amazing. Very attentive and polite. I'm going to stop here for lunch every day. Will miss it once I head back to California.
I have been coming to Paul Wong's for almost 18 months! I can't say enough about the place. I have eaten Chinese food all over the world (including China) and Paul Wong's is at the top of my list. Fresh, consistent, and above all, delicious! Paul and his staff are amazing! They always make you feel welcomed.
