Paulie Boys has usually been spot on, but my experience tonight was disappointing. I called in my order at 4 PM, and they were out of bacon, which is a pretty essential ingredient for some of their signature subs. When I arrived, I noticed a new employee outside the store on his phone instead of picking up bacon from Hannaford. I brought home two subs, but unfortunately, both were made incorrectly. I ordered a Brooklyn Club with no onions, and it came with onions (and no bacon), and the cappicola sub had mayo on it, which I didn’t ask for. I’m not sure why they added mayo. Given this experience, I’ll definitely think twice the next time I’m in the mood for subs.
Let me start off by saying that I don't eat subs very often. The first time I visited this place, the subs were $6, but over time, the price has gradually increased to $7.50 for a half sub. As someone who doesn't eat meat, I find that a bit pricey. Anyway, I observed a young man making a sub and I was excited for mine. However, the gentleman who prepared my sub used a rather unusual technique that I didn't care for. He layered the ingredients—bread, lettuce, cheese—and then folded it in half. It felt like I was eating a cheese log, and the bites were uneven! I know it sounds strange, but it just didn’t feel right. Maybe I’ll give it another try next time?
I ordered the Brooklyn Club, and I was pleasantly surprised by its weight when it was handed to me. It felt substantial and satisfying in my hand. When I unwrapped it, I found a generous portion of turkey and bacon, which was refreshing because many places overstuff their subs with lettuce and tomato. My sub was absolutely delicious.
Our kids also loved their smaller subs, and we could hear their excited comments from the backseat on our way home. They also offer Boylan's sodas and a few other beverages.
In short, the food was excellent, prepared quickly, and reasonably priced. We're definitely going back!
I've been meaning to stop by and try one of their subs. I finally did. I ordered the Kingston Beef. Absolutely to die for. So juicy and delicious, and served on a perfectly soft roll. And they don't skimp on ingredients either. My sub was loaded with roast beef. I definitely will be stopping by again very soon to try some of their other subs. I hope this place sticks around for a long time. Kingston has been in dire need of a good sandwich shop for a long time.

Rude staff! I watched a man check out. He had a $100 bill. They said they didn 't have change and that he had to go next door to get change. He asked them if they could break a $50 and they said probably not. He asked if they take credit and they said no. As he was leaving the lady who cashed him out yelled "tips are appreciated "This is not the first time I seen them being rude about tipping. Will not be going back.
Lovely place! They cut the meat to a good thickness and put the proper amount of veggies on each sub. My favorite part, the fresh bread!Cookies and many beverage options... definitely will return. Thank you for the food!Vegetarian options: House special veggie sub!
The sandwiches are pretty good, and I'd go there more often if they had any decent sides, they just have tiny bags of chips and potato/macaroni salad or coleslaw. And they are SLOW.
Great sandwich shop does all the classics really well. I've had the Italian one and a hot beef one. Both delicious. Cash only but there's an ATM.

This is a refreshingly old fashioned sandwich stop, with good quality deli meats and a nice friendly down-to-earth staff
