I found a charming bar not far from my hotel (Kasa La Monarca) and decided to stop by for a couple of cocktails. I was pleased to find the prices were reasonable, especially compared to NYC. The first cocktail was impressively strong, which got my hopes up for the rest of the drinks. However, the following cocktails tasted more like mocktails; perhaps it was a strategy to encourage more orders! The service was good, but the atmosphere shifted unexpectedly when the bouncer and our blonde bartender disappeared down the street for about ten minutes, which was a bit odd. I wish I lived like 5 blocks closer because if it were only 15 minutes from me, instead of 20, I'd be here all the time. First off, it has a chill vibe and a unique decor. There's tons of space but also like a mini corner good for groups. Its dog friendly inside as well. I've tried several cocktails with my favorite being a green-michelada they had which was awesome if you're into that. Tasted like a cocktail and a refreshing salsa together but it hit the spot. The Desert Queen, Jetset and the Peacekeeper are also good cocktails. I highly recommend you stop by!
We loved this place. It was right beside our hotel so we visited for a nightcap four of the six nights we were in town. The atmosphere is open and inviting, the staff were all very friendly, and the quality of the drinks is top notch. I also felt like the prices were more affordable than we saw elsewhere in town. This would definitely be our Friday night spot if we lived in the area.

Currently sitting in this cocktail bar. The vibes are so breezy, laidback, and “beachy?”. If I lived in SF, I would be a regular here. Drinks are exquisite I had the “La copa verde” and my partner had the “peacekeeper” both very unique drinks.
This was one of my San Francisco highlights so close to my hotel at the Fairmont. Super cool and stayed open late during the week. Will definitely recommend to others coming to SF
