Dropped in for Sunday lunch, set is a carvery. Meat was perfect and the roast potatoes were the best I have had with a Sunday lunch in a long time. Decent selection of lagers including Laguanitas session IPA. I believe camra members visit this pub so the real must be decent. Will definitely return.

When you go out for Sunday lunch what do you want? Good food, good service and a quiet atmosphere. Well at the peal you get them all. The food was well cooked beautifully presented and the service quiet and attentive. The pub is small but that lends itself to a friendly atmosphere

Walk pass last week sign outside saying sunday luncn only &9.00 phoned and collected all read in half hour. foods was all home made.THE WHOLE MEAL WAS LOVELY. and lots of it Will be back next week

Great thing to do during lock-down. Really enjoyed the nicest Fish, fresh-cut Chips (non greasy) mushy peas it was delicious. Only once so far, shall be back again! Thank you.

Visited for Sunday lunch excellent roast dinner and very friendly staff. Great value for money. Recommend a visit.
