Without a doubt, one of the worst (if not THE worst) experiences I 've had at a restaurant! The place being near empty on a Friday night should have been a huge red flag but we persisted. The food was terrible and management should be embarrassed. The only bright spot was our server Anna. Very nice and was on top of everything. Regarding the food: bread for the table is heavily garliced biscuits. Poor choice since they were very crumbly and fell apart while trying to butter them. This space used to be a very good seafood restaurant named Doc McGrogan's. It changed this year. The first thing I noticed was the change of the menu, much less adventurous with less variety. First the good: our waiter was a very attentive young man who deserves to work in a better restaurant. The Oysters Rockefeller were decent, not the best but tasty and they used huge oysters. Unfortunately, that's where it ends. The hush puppies weren't crisp and came dusted with powdered sugar which my daughter did not like. The oyster stew was a recipe I did not care for. The food was decent and good, but not exceptional. Some items felt a bit overpriced, although a few were reasonably priced. The highlight of our visit was definitely our server, Dylan. He was very attentive and on top of things. Great job, Dylan! As for a return visit, I would probably be more inclined to stop by for a drink and an appetizer rather than a full meal. If Gordon Ramsay had eating here. He would have cursed out the chef. I had the steamed mussels and it had no taste at all. Not sure why it wasn't seasoned well, but you couldn't not taste any garlic, white wine, pepper nor parsley in the dish. My wife had the fried shrimp and french fries. The shrimp and french fries looked greasy and as if they came out of a box. I wouldn't recommend restaurant to my worst enemy.

The service was excellent, and the shrimp bisque was exceptional! However, I was a bit disappointed with the scallops. The description mentioned they were “lightly” breaded, but they were actually quite heavily breaded, which overshadowed the flavor of the scallops. I ended up removing the crust and enjoying the scallops plain. Overall, I would definitely go back.
the service was good, but eating was very disappointing. flounder was dry like the crabbe empire. even the baked carrots were overcooked and the market price for king crab legs was $75. I can do the same in other restaurants for under $40.
The food and staff were generally good. However, three out of our six orders were incorrect. The drinks were enjoyable. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and potential, but it hasn’t quite reached its full potential yet.
The waitress was fantastic. The shrimp was large and delicious, and I absolutely loved the hushpuppies. However, I wasn't a fan of the crushed vegetables. I would definitely go back, but be sure to bring plenty of money!

My first experience was delightful. The service is excellent. The food was absolutely amazing. If you love seafood; this is a great restaurant to taste high quality tasty entrees.
