This is one of the best Chinese food restaurants around! I typically don’t leave reviews but when I saw the ridiculousness posted below from two customers I felt I needed to balance the scales a bit. I was there at the restaurant when this man came in with another gentleman bragging about how much he spends there from his car dealership. My meal was going wonderfully, service was fantastic, until this guy began raising his voice and yelling, going from table to table in both dining rooms showing his food to everyone interrupting their meals. I highly recommend trying the Hot and Sour Soup and the Mongolian Beef—they're definitely the highlights of the menu!
They had their menu marked with gluten free items and we really enjoyed our meal. The portion sizes were large but everything was delicious. My mom got the chicken and broccoli and I got the sesame chicken which is gluten free. We also got the fried rice and bok choy to share as well. I believe this restaurant offers the best Chinese food in New Jersey, which is quite a statement considering the overall quality of Chinese cuisine in the state tends to be quite poor. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food justifies it. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the bar scene is really enjoyable—definitely worth a visit!

The service here was outstanding. Our waiter, Chris, took excellent care of us and really enhanced our experience. The food was fantastic, and the portion sizes were quite generous. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 stars.

Because Peking pavilion is such a fabulous place. It can get a bit noisy. They don’t take reservations for small groups so get there early.
