We made a reservation here for our Christmas Day meal. It was a disaster - we waited half an hour for our starter, which was not good at all. When our main course finally arrived, it was cold and looked like leftovers. The Yorkshire puddings were hard as bricks and the steak was extremely salty. We couldn't eat any of it and ended up leaving. It was a terrible experience, and we weren't the only ones who felt this way. I would recommend avoiding this place for a Christmas Day meal. The food and drinks were awful, and I would give the rooms a rating of 1 out of 5.
We had booked a table as we were here for the Christmas Market, just as well as people were being turned away and told the place was fully booked. We were shown to our table quite quickly and menus provided and drinks ordered straight away. Service was a bit slow but due to how busy it was this was acceptable. One of our party who was also eating there said she had waited an hour for her starter to arrive. Our food arrived hot and portions of a good size. As we were not staying at the hotel I cannot review it.
Stopped here for an evening last week. The rooms are lovely with all expected amenities. The pub itself is very in keeping with Stratfords heritage in look. Good selection of beers and food also! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Great value

Pie mash was diabolical, would not eat here again. Mash was dry and cold not creamy as advertised. Carrots were burnt and peas cold. Food drinks: Awful Service: 1 Location: 3

This is a great spot to grab a beer at the pub, with an amazing atmosphere.
