The best. Decided to take kids out for sat nite dinner. Appetizer we had mussels with red sauce, they were amazing and gone in minutes, there were plenty they just ate them so fast! We also had the pot stickers, delicious! They had steak, sliders and Ihad the pork chop. We all brought home leftovers, there was so much food. Just fantastic, very friendly staff. Very cleanrestaurant and super cozy. I have to mention I really like the fact that the plates and bowls are all beautiful differentcolors and shapes. My son wanted the blue plate for his dining experience. So this place is entertaining as well. Thank you!
I visited Pennyville Station on an unusually warm March day in Chicago, around 65 degrees. They offered outdoor seating and had large windows open to the outside at the bar area. We chose to sit inside to enjoy the fresh air without the busy foot traffic and noise from the nearby Metra station. The bar was well-stocked, and the staff was friendly. We shared a chicken sandwich that was outstanding. I paired it with the house margarita, which had the perfect salted rim—a true professional touch. The margarita could have been a bit bigger and stronger, but overall, it was a great experience.
Had an early dinner there and everything was amazing! I decided to take a table outside and because it was easy to rain, they open the table screen for me. Order the short ribs sandwich with pommes and Coleslaw and it tasted so good!!! The meal with a refreshing IPA, perfect for a hot afternoon, and finished the dining room with an espresso. Hannah was my server and she was pleasant and knowledgeable. Amazing place, planning, soon again with friends!!!
The food and experience at Pennyville was extraordinary. The steak was to die for and I would really recommend it to anyone looking for wonderful Saturday Night Dinner. The Burger was also very Juicy and had a well selected assortment of toppings. Thewaitress was very attentive and took care of any special requests we desired. I would recommend Pennyville Station to any of myfriends looking for a High quality Dinner Superb Dining experience.

I recently enjoyed one of the best meals I've had in a long time at Pennyville Station! While the prices were a bit high, the generous portions made it worthwhile. It was lively on a Sunday afternoon but not too packed. The staff were attentive, and the quirky, fun decor added to the experience. The menu offered a fantastic selection of creative takes on classic dishes.
This is a nice place for lunch, has a bar and grill atmosphere. I ordered the cauliflower tacos. Good flavors and the queso fresco was a nice addition on the top. We came here on a Saturday so the waiting for the food and drinks was pretty long. Iwasn’t sure who our main server was because we had several people come up to us. Overall it was a nice experience.
I absolutely loved the interior, drinks, food, and service at this restaurant. I will definitely be trying their desserts on my next visit. The Aubergine Caprese Salad was perfect and delicious. I highly recommend trying the Bluepoint Oysters grilled.
We liked the beets salad, the white fish and the salmon burger were really good. The Cajun shrimp spices were overwhelming so we didn’t care for it. Great music and vibe. The service was very good. We found street parking.

Good typical American bar food nothing stand out. Fries, mashed potatoes, cream sauce that all. Pretty heavy from starter to dinner but quite tasty. Beers all can or bottle no draft. Great fast and friendly services.
Fantastic food and atmosphere! The decor is beautiful. Although the location is busy and a bit hard to get to, it’s definitely worth the effort!
