what we experienced here today was simply unacceptable. the service professional woman could ask what a side carving is no answer. only "something vegetarian." the other menu was hot meat cheese; both with a potato salad. we ordered the carving and it was also served quickly. now the discs in the middle were still really hard at the potato salad. sauce was acceptable. I read the cook coming to the table and on my complaint I received only the answer: "there was nothing back in the kitchen, so it must be good." Now are both my friend and I very often in restaurants and were just amazed. we now tried the specified carving (warm) and that was also terrible. the panad oily and really not recomme...
Urige Atmosphäre und leckere Gerichte. Wir hatten ein Schnitzel und zwei Cordon Bleus. Die Pommes waren knackig und top gewürzt. Das Schnitzel hatte eine lockere, luftige Panade, die einen schönen Geschmack ins Fleisch bringt, gleiches gilt für die Cordon Bleus. Die Herausforderung bei Schnitzel ist genau diese Kombination zu schaffen das Verhältnis zwischen Panade und Fleisch (welches natürlich nicht wie eine Schuhsole sein sollte). Aus meiner Sicht ein tolles Restaurant, um den Abend zu genießen (bei einem Bierchen) und oder lecker essen zu gehen. Der Service war freundlich und hat das tolle Essen abgerundet.
were here on the afternoon and the menu was written on a board. pumpkin cream soup, kl. salat and spaghetti bolognese or napoli. absolutely everything homemade; a very good salats sauce, the bolognese fantastic. and that at the price of 17.50. almost unbeatable at this price. the ambiance of a pub but with excellent eating.

Hidden gem in the not-so-busy area of St. Gallen with a cozy atmosphere! Everything we ordered was delicious! They often have mussels and this time they served it with tomato-garlic-chorizo sauce. It was the highlight dish! Fast and friendly service. They also serve tap water, free of charge!
