I was excited to visit this restaurant, as I had a great experience at the Covent Garden location a few years ago. However, I was taken aback by the £100 set menu on a Friday night, as I had assumed we would have options from the a la carte menu. The waitress was accommodating, but we decided to go for the £100 menu thinking we would get something special. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the food and found it underwhelming. The bream starter was delicious, as was the monkfish, but overall we felt the meal was overpriced for a Friday evening. The ambiance was lovely and our waitress provided attentive service. Perhaps the restaurant offers better value during the week or for lunch.
It was our 1st time in the restaurant and the atmosphere was wonderful. The service was excellent. One of our party has quite extensive allergies and our lovely waitress went through the menu explaining everything. The tables were nicely spread out and although it was busy we could still talk normally and hear each other- do the acoustics in the glasshouse help with that? I don't know, but we would have happily stayed all day.
Go for lunch not dinner! Lunch is lovely and good value. Dinner is over-priced, same food, much more expensive. At lunch they serve lovely bread they make, at dinner for some bizarre reason they don’t have bread, so despite ordering multiple sides we were we left hungry (portions are not large). I have had a great meal at Petersham, but dinner this week was average and not worth the money.
We had a family gathering for a birthday. The staff were friendly and efficient and there when we needed anything. The food was an amazing choice of delicious food. It was hard to choose because everything sounded so good. We had several of the arancini apertiser to share. Delicious! All starters and mains were very good and everyone had a super fun time in the beautiful setting.

This restaurant is top notch with exceptional service and delicious food. Our server, Ella, went above and beyond to make our evening special, and our wine steward added to the experience with their good humor and knowledge. The holiday ambiance at Petersham is truly magical. We will definitely be frequenting this restaurant.
Service was sweet but justifying the price visa-vie portion size was presumptuous ! Burrata bowl was too small and difficult to navigate Mains were sent back as they arrived cold. …. Dessert of stewed apple? Not sure what it was supposed to be. Overall very disappointing and overpriced
I was disappointed with the meal and flavors at this restaurant. The artichokes were overcooked. However, I did enjoy the nice ambiance.
Went for a lovely birthday meal here: only thing i’d say is a little difficult to find. Apart from that, everything fantastic!!
