We ordered dinner in this restaurant and were looking forward to good Thai food. Destroyed great time. The sweet and sour chicken was so over fried, so chew and veggies in it was so mushy. The appetizer Sampler was terrible; Calamari, one of my favorites, was not even good and tasteless fried. We threw away most of the items on the appetizer floor. The one plate left was a typical Thai dish, Pad Thai; he was barely edible. It was muddy and tasteless. How can a restaurant have opened so badly for so long? I had eaten in Phang Roy a few years ago and it was moderate, but I wanted to try again. What a mistake! Spent $56.49 for the WORST meal. Dr. A
This little hole in that was really good. My son and daughter enjoyed it very much. The noodles were very tasteful. Cooked right! Orange chicken wasn't overcrowded. It was very healthy as they did. Not fat! Flavor was good. Strangely it is the same as everywhere. The curry didn't have as much of a kick as I used to. It was okay. The restaurant is a bit brownish. Potty rooms could need a little tlc.
Even though the waiter took quite a bit to serve us, the wait time was still reasonable for what the place was. The prices weren't too expensive, but you still might pay a pretty penny. The Thai Tea had the right amount of sweetness, the Fish Cakes had a nice, subtle crunch to them, and the Drunken Noodles were worth the wait time for the food.
The food was very good and pleasant, plus the portions were large. The fried rice and the pad were quite delicious. The mood here is as if your mother forgets to get you from your friend's house and you have to stay for dinner. My friend loved the TV, she couldn't keep her eyes away. I recently visited Darling Nails located next door. I've mentioned this before, but I must reiterate that this couple is truly amazing. I received the best gel manicure I have ever had, which lasted over 3 weeks. As a Mail Lady, my hands endure a lot of wear and tear, so this was impressive.
I had a fantastic experience dining at this Thai restaurant located on the outskirts of Azusa. The portions were generous, and I had plenty of leftover rice to take home with my large curry dish. The yellow curry had a great flavor, although it was a bit on the thin side.
