"My Seafood laksa was ok. The seafood did not taste fresh. My partner ordered beef pho and the broth tastes like medicine and beef looks more like chicken. Won't be ordering from them again."

My wife and I were walking through Brunswick and I had a mid day hankering for some Asian food. We stumbled across this fine little eatery and it did not disappoint. It's spacious and well decorated for a small storefront. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue (which is one of my favorite Vietnamese noodle soup dishes) for $11 AUD. Given the relatively cheap price I expected it to be a smallish portion. THIS WAS NOT THE CASE. It was a huge bowl brimming with noodles, broth and heaps of beef meat shavings. It came with a generous plate of greens, veggies, and toppings as well. The broth was delicate and well seasoned. The meat was lean and well cooked. I was thoroughly stuffed after tucking into it. I liked it so much I might come back tomorrow. Note to those of you who like very authentic Bun Bo Hue (I.e. with blood cubes and beef intestine), this version is toned down on the different animal parts to appeal to a broader audience.

We have been regulars at this local place for a few years now. We were disappointed at our most recent visit, the first for a few months. The Pho broth was just as good, but we had to ask for extra herbs. My partner's noodle salad had very little pork, and even less spring roll. It looks like this place is following the lead of it's nearby competitor, Pho Victoria 2, in trying to economise on the ingredients in order to keep the price low.

One of the many restaurants along Brunswick Street Fitzroy which offer a wide range asian foods. We visited for an early dinner and were not disappointed. They offer a small number of table & chairs along with a large number of tables where patrons sit on cushions on the floor - naturally you are required to remove your shoes. The food and service are excellent for this type of venue and the staff are pleasent and friendly.

Great and moorish Pho, with a good selection of other Vietnamese and indo-chinese dishes. You could imagine this was in Hanoi with not that much effort. The ony thing better than the food was the value.
