We were looking for a place to eat in a remote area and came across this restaurant that looked modest and unassuming. We decided to give it a try and didn't have high hopes for the food. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the dishes we ordered. We shared a Pho combo and a sandwich between the two of us. The Pho was a hearty dish with various meats such as beef, beef tripe, and meatballs. The broth was rich and flavorful, with a balance of spices and herbs. This place used to be so good but ever since the new owner brought them out, I’ve been having bad experiences. I’ve been vegetarian my whole life and now I occasionally find small pieces of real meat in my food. It makes me want to throw up. The egg rolls taste like they’re made with real meat now too. Seems to me they use the same pots/utensils they use for their real meat plates. I used to be such a huge fan of this place but it’s looking like I can’t trust them and will no longer be going here ?
This place used to be Pho Mai. The new management has taken over and had a mural of Vietnam painted, brightened the inside and removed some of the old clutter. The food is delicious I'd rate it a 4.3/5 but where they truly win is the service. Not only are they friendly but they are very speedy!Food is typically out almoat within 5-8min from when you order! The only major complaint I have is the serving size for the price you pay should be a bit more generous.Atmosphere has definitely improved! ?
I had to visit the area and search for nearest Pho and found Pho Rex. I was a little reluctant because I don’t know the area and afraid to try new place, especially Pho ? but to my surprised, this place is clean, pleasant and attentive server. Able to have a chat w one of the owner, Nhi. Excellent customer service. AWSOME food , especially the dessert fried banana w ice cream. I will return You should give them a try ?

This restaurant is a truly authentic gem located in the corner of Michaels Plaza in Upland. The service was warm and friendly. The highlight of my visit was the bun bo hue, my favorite underrated Vietnamese dish, which was incredibly flavorful and aromatic. I ordered a honeydew milk tea, and my boyfriend had a virgin mojito; both drinks were delicious.
I always seem to find my way back to this restaurant time and again. The food is absolutely delicious and obviously crafted with care and passion. The service is consistently excellent, and I always leave with a smile and a satisfied appetite. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine.
I would say this is just average. I was not impressed with the food. The service seemed like a family that runs the place not much enthusiasm.I went there a couple of weeds ago and ordered pho with chicken, and the chicken was incredibly tough and unchewable I had to pick them out and switch to vegetarian.
Customer service was excellent. Herein, The lady was very friendly and brought out my food to me as I waited. The chicken wings were good as well as the seafood pho but it didn't have a lot of seafood for the price like my other pho place.

Waiter greeted us immediately upon arrival, and our food came out 10 min after ordering. It tasted fantastic as always! #67 is one of my favorite dishes of all time. Just wished that #23 came with more wontons hehe.
This was my first visit, and we were seated immediately. Our food arrived quickly and was served warm. The presentation was neat and fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the area!
