Food is fine I guess, when you get what you ordered.Scrutinize your take out order before you leave, even if yours is the only one on the counter.I got all the way home to realize that my order the only one on the counter, was not what I ordered even after repeating my order twice upon ordering, and repeating it yet again as it was handed over the counter to me.I made the effort to go to pick it up and take it home. I'm not going to go back yet again to get the order replaced. Shame on me for trusting something to be right, and letting someone else waste my money and my time. (And my apologies to the environment for throwing away food. My effort to bike there and back probably didn't offset...
One of our favorite Vietnamese restaurants in San Mateo Foster City is a must-visit. The staff is friendly and quick, even when they are busy and dishes are delivered slowly. The servers, usually middle-aged uncles and aunties, always apologize for any delays. The food is fantastic, with the pho being the most authentic in the area. While the bun bo Hue lacks flavor, the grilled shrimp and pork chops over vermicelli are a must-try and my favorite dish. Their Vietnamese coffee is also authentic and popular among diners. The restaurant is kid-friendly, providing utensils, plates, and even a food scissor for babies. It's always a pleasure to see a cup of coffee on most tables during our visits.
Quick take: Okay phoThe restaurant is spacious and well lit. I like the places with all the utensils stocked on the inside of the table. This way I don't have to ask for anything. Just double check everything to make sure it's clean.It was a Friday night and the place was busy enough. Not too busy to be seated right away. Lots of patrons from the karate studio next door.Pho broth was ok. The size small bowls are kinda small. Lol At other places I can't fi ish a bowl. I ate everything at this place.Not a bad spot for pho but not the best. It's kinda pricey but that's the case everywhere in the Peninsula.
Found a hair inside my veggie egg roll all tangled up with the carrots. They didn't charge me for it which was nice. The condiments on the table were dirty with sticky fingerprints. Our table was also sticky. The appetizers plates were drupping with water, I wiped them off with napkins. I also ordered the chicken noodle soup and the chicken was tough and hard to chew, the broth was warm, not nice and hot as it should be. Not a good experience at all.

We visit this restaurant frequently. They recently renovated and it looks very nice! The food is served quickly and tastes delicious. The staff is friendly and always get our orders right. We are going today and are excited to dine there again!
My girlfriend and I came in for the very first time to try this delicious Vietnamese soup and we both enjoyed it. Plates are very colorful and food is outstanding. We'll definitely coming back for here.
I ordered the seafood combo noodle and was disappointed to find that it was just frozen ingredients thrown into salty hot water. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this restaurant.
The most unfriendly service food was ok stew was tasty pork fried rice was fried rice with a small pork cutlet on top ,,so meh.Food: 3/5
