Pho Tam Restaurant

If you open any business ,the most important things is LOCATION ! LOCATION ! like the equation 1 + 1 = 2 ,I hear so much about this Pho restaurant for so long , I do not have the opportunity to try it out ,last time I was in the area ,I can not find the restaurant , finally my friend took me there for lunch ,it is by the Surrey Central Station ,on other side ,,location is awful ,dirty area ,homeless people every where ,do not feel save ,and we walk down to a sketchy strip ,there is two Pho's restaurant ,the first one we passed by ,not a soul ,only 50 feet away ,there is the Pho Tam restaurant ,after 1pm ,there is over 20 people stand out side waiting for a tables , I almost turn around and go to Subway , but ,it is so close and so far ,I am going to wait ,and seen how good they are ,only 15 mins wait ,we got our tables ,oh ! My my my my my it is so dirty ,,like run down 1950 coffee shop ,all long tables , every body just sit down and share the table ! like you on in Jail ! the price is cheap ,so, we order the Special A ,and B ,,less them 3mins ,(I time it ! ) Wow , big bowl with so much meats and it is fresh and hot ,the broth is excellent ,all the ingredients is top quality ,it is truly GREAT Broth , no wonder it is the local favourited ,and my too ,service is so so ,but the staff great team work , well done . so ,some time you do not need a good location , wonderful well done ! oh ,cash only !

The food is awesome. The prices are excellent. Portion size is huge. Go with combo A here and its a huge bowl of meat, noodles and they give you a large portion of bean sprouts to add. For newbies to the Pho game squeeze the lime in and add the lemon leaves into your bowl, squeeze some of the sauce in the brown bottle in and you got yourself a full bowl of goodness. Forget the decor an come for the food. A little tip parking is almost non-existent here so go over to the safeway parking lot very close by and walk over. Enjoy!

The broth is what keeps me coming back. The women that cook at the back make one of the best pho broth in the lower mainland. Service is quick and the pho comes out piping hot in less than 5 minutes with generous portions of meat and noodles.

Went for lunch with my son. Green tea, salad rolls and he had a dish I can't recall. Food came fast. Fresh and yummy. Restaurant very clean and great service. Eat in or take out. I will go back for those salad rolls and peanut sauce for sure.

Love this place, been going here for years.. always full, amazing spring rolls, quick service and great portions. Cash only. Great hangover cure.
