I received a complimentary order of spring rolls with my takeaway, but I opted to pay for them and receive free prawn crackers instead. However, upon arriving home, I discovered that the prawn crackers were missing. After contacting the restaurant, I requested a refund for the spring rolls. The restaurant instead offered to give me extra or free prawn crackers with my next order. I insisted on a refund of the £3 cost of the spring rolls, as they were originally offered to me for free. Unfortunately, the restaurant refused to issue a refund. While I have no complaints about the food quality, I was disappointed to have paid £3 more than I should have and have my refund request denied.
If you are gluten free, I would highly recommend the Phoenix Inn. I have been searching for a good Chinese restaurant for years after trying so many and finding the food to be bland. When I was recommended to try here, I couldn't have been happier - the food is fresh and tastes just like I remember Chinese food tasting before I had to go gluten free. I would recommend the Mongolian beef, garden fried rice, and salt and chili chips. The staff is willing to adapt dishes to meet your dietary requirements. Thank you, Phoenix Inn.
I recently switched to dining at Phoenix after being a long-time customer at Wok In. Unfortunately, Wok In changed ownership and the quality of the food went downhill. However, I have found that Phoenix serves absolutely delicious food. I particularly enjoy their chips in batter. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. Overall, I highly recommend dining at Phoenix for a great experience.
Had another amazing takeaway from The Phoenix on Saturday, on point every time cannot fault the place. Really quick delivery and foods always roasting hot. I've tried just about every Chinese take away in Dunfermline and nothing comes close to this place its a little gem. The Chinese lady on the phone is so friendly and nothing is too much bother. Will order again very soon.

We have about 4 times over the past 12 months and the food is surprisingly good. I often find that Chinese food makes me thirsty but not at the Phoenix Inn. We have tried a variety of dishes and yes the food is good. It’s hidden away but well worth the visit.
Always had good food before but both main dishes tasted same bit bland had Mongolian chicken sparse amount sauce far too many onions chilli beef tasteless maybe changed the chef will try again but hope for a tasty meal next time
This is our local Chinese takeaway The food is always piping hot and really tasty Delivery can sometimes be a wee bit slow but they do usually warn you when ordering if there’s going to be a wait
Excellent food wasted with too much salt.Would defo use again as we have in the past but would ask that they do not add extra salt as it spoiled what was a lovely takeaway meal....

Best Chinese meal we have had in a while. Doesn’t look great from the outside but the food is fantastic. We are converted into regulars.
Great food always very pleasant staff and great price.Have been going here for long time now and never had bad meal.
