Phonomenal Vietnamese Cafe

I love Vietnamese food, I have been to Vietnam and I eat it quite regularly. The Phò I got here was the Phonomenal special- beef, brisket and meatball with tendon. It arrived as a heaping pile of noodles, was difficult to mix the garnish in becausethere was so much noodle, im talking an almost comical amount of noodles, like 2 lbs. The water ratio was about 10-15% becauseof the amount of noodles. The taste was mostly rice noodle because it was all rice noodle with a hint of a very suspiciousflavor. Tasted like something had gone foul. Ate a little bit and left. This was the worst Vietnamese food I have ever had by along shot. Disgusting. The Special was special for all the wrong reasons.

Sweetest staff, especially the woman in her 20s. I found the pho to be a bit bland compared to other pho places I?ve gone to in Vancouver (the rating is just regarding that). Decent portion. Side note to owner: Please update the physical menu to thecorrect pricing, it can sometimes be a bit disappointing when you go to pay and the price is different? or at least mention itto customers dining in.

This place is my favorite. It's not downtown, the food is fast and delicious. I have never had a problem there. Sometimes you might have to wait for a seat and it's awkward because you're standing next to someone trying to slurp their soup. Check it out.

I never actually go out of my way to write a negative revew.... but I just ordered the chicken rice plate. The plate was absolutely FULL of onions and barely any chicken at all. It's not fair to call it a chicken dish when 80% of the content isonions.

The broth was good. Service was fast and friendly. Really enjoyed everything we had. The place was clean. They really made an effort to be accommodating especially when we didn't have reservations.

Great broth for the pho, noodles were starchy, not rinsed out. They started mopping the floor during our meal...not very appetizing, We noticed 95% of business was take out, it is easy to see why.

We were wanting take out late when they were getting ready to close. They stayed and made a wonderful dinner for us. We always order from here and it is always great. Thank you so much.

One of 2 VN places in the city with a Pho made with a good broth. Always busy, quick service, Friendly atmosphere, though a bit crowded. Reasonable prices. Parking is free.

We eat here once a week. The food is delicious, the staff and owner are very pleasant and accommodating, and the price is reasonable for the amount of food you get.
