This used to be one of my all time favourite restaurants on the planet I love Chinese food, but after ordering take out and coming to pick it up, I saw a staff member empty unused steam rice that customers hadn't eaten back into the rice bowl for future customers, absolutely discusting !!!!! when I reported this to the council they went in there and confronted the owners and they admitted to doing it, and apparently it was common in Chinese restaurants what a load of bull the council should have closed them down, and I had to push them to make a unannounced visit instead of making a time to go in there. I was devastated to say the least, it put me off Chinese food and restaurants in general....

This restaurant is part of the local community and we have dined there many times. It has recently re-opened from a much needed renovation. The inside has had a fresh makeover, giving it a brighter and updated look, nothing major but enough to notice the difference. Best qualities is its extensive & delicious menu and affordability. It was my pick for Mother's day, so the family and I dined here. It was very busy, which is a significant sign to me how good a place is and the flow of turnover was consistent. We enjoyed plenty of food and drink and devoured all our dishes. All six of us left very happy and satisfied and a great way to end Mother's Day.
Not s sign of beautiful fresh herby Vietnamese food.Salt and peppered egg plant, expected lovely caramelised Vietnamese eggplant- no arrived like a plate of battered small sausages from the royal show.Chicken with onion and lemon grass was the only dish which was passable.Pork with plum sauce, should have been called batter with plum sauce, heavy fried food. The soup which was ordered never arrived,we were glad as we didn't want anymore disappointments,ThisRestaurant advertises itself as Vietnamese,/ Chinese,it reminds me of the 70's sweet and sour Chinese restaurants .Positive is they only charge $6.50 for Byo.Service was also below standard.
Have been coming here regularly for 20 years from when it was called siagon ,food is always fresh and comes to the table in good time .we have always shared our meals and never go home disappointed .averaged approx $30 a head with 6 of us having shared entrees ,mains and desserts .we took a bottle of wine as they do BYO ,with small corkage fee ,this time we went mid week and was only half full but weekends are busier so pay to book Réservez une table maintenant
I see mixed reviews for this restaurant on Tripadvisor but on this my first visit to the place our family group found it more than acceptable.I gather it has recently been refurbished and its appearance was bright and pleasant. All of the dishes we shared were good and portion sizes were very generous.Service was quick and efficient. All in all we were happy with the meal and will be back
Yummy!!.. Took my team out for lunch, we got six main meals to share, rice and noodles + entree. Loved the crispy quail cooked in butter for entree, the true winner for the main was the salt and pepper squid. The only downer was the satay skewers and the curried beef.
Place is perfect what the local area needs the menu has a huge selection of items to selection from. It's always busy and packed with Asian people which means the foods food no western mix here anyone wanting try something new in the area give this place a go
