We were booked in at Freiburg apartments next door and could not get in after a 400 mile drive. The piazza staff helped us and phoned the apartment owner who arrived quickly with a key. We decided to grab a pizza after checking in (the apartments are great by the way). we were made extremely welcome at the piazza and ordered a pizza royale and a seafood pizza. Both were incredible. We have never tasted pizza like these before. Stunning taste. The 'family' were also in the restaurant as it was Sunday evening, so we felt like we were in Italy. Utterly brilliant. Even if I like frozen pizzas of the supermarket, the one I ate at Piazza Italia is the worst ever! Once we had finished, they brought us the bill without having asked for it, only because the wanted us to go away soon. We were in 6 and one of us wanted to pay by card and they refused the payment. We had some coin (1 and 2€ pieces) and we had to change it by ourselves because they didn't accept it, the told us litterally "What can I do with that?"...(Probably they don't know the existance of banks)...I hope that people don't think that all the Italian restaurants are like that one!!!
Dopo aver fatto il check-in un appartamento a 20 metri da Piazza Italia ci siamo recati nel ristorante-pizzeria ed abbiamo ordinato due pizze un acqua e una birra piccola.La pizza era sorprendentemente buona, quindi consiglio tutti questo locale sia per la qualità della pizza e soprattutto sul prezzo.dopo aver mangiato e bevuto abbiamo ordinato due espressi.Totale conto € 23,60 .... mai pagato cosi poco in un ristorante/pizzeria in Germania.
Huhu zusammen, Als ich im Rieselfeld war, dachte ich zuerst es gibt hier keine guten Pizzen. Doch dann:!!! Sah ich diese Pizzeria, sie schoss mir direkt ins Auge, wegen ihrer schönen Optik und Einrichtung. Und das Essen einfach perfekt. Wer eine gute Pizza essen will kommt ab PIAZZA ITALIA wohl nicht vorbei. Lg

Nachdem die Inhaber seit Jahren schon das Eiscafe am Bertholdsbrunnen geführt haben, wurde nun zusätzlich dieses Restaurant mit Eiscafe eröffnet. Die Mitarbeiter und Inhaber sind stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Eis ist spitze und die Speisen sind gut.
Rundum lecker gegessen und freundlich bedient worden. Alles Klasse. Die Örtlichkeit selbst empfand ich als nicht ganz so ansprechend, aber das rückte beim Essen in den Hintergrund. Sehr empfehlenswert.
Tres bonne pizzeria sur Freiburg, tres bon rapport qualite prix et service rapide. L'ete la terrasse est super agreable et l'hiver il y a un etage pour accueillir tout le monde a l'interieur.
Super leckeres Eis, auch Eisbecher nicht teurer als 6,50 (August 15). Gute Pizza, ebenfalls nicht teuer. Italienisches Ambiente mit nettem Personal. Was will man mehr?
