I chose the roast dinner, while my partner ordered carbonara without mushrooms (which shouldn't be in carbonara anyway). My daughter had a spicy pasta dish. The service was quick and polite, but the carbonara came with mushrooms and had to be sent back. The roast dinner was mediocre and similar to what you would expect at a Toby Carvery in terms of quality and portion size. The restaurant has a bar area where things got rowdy, leading to a fight between two groups. I have visited this restaurant several times, including for a family birthday meal, which was very good. However, my most recent visit was disappointing as the menu had changed and I had to order food and drinks at the bar, which I found lazy for a small bistro restaurant. The staff didn't seem very engaged and compliments were just dumped on the table without any further interaction. The pizza was average and the pasta was okay. I ordered a starter and main meal, but they were both brought out at the same time, which spoiled the experience. Unfortunately, I wouldn't go back again. It's a shame, as the setting is lovely.
Went for my granddaughters birthday. Had to pre order meals before we arrived. No staff approached us to see if we wanted our meals waited 45min we had children with us and had to go to the bar and ask where our food was. Food was only warm when it arrived my granddaughters carbonara came with 2 hairs mixed in. Staff werent welcoming at all and looked like they didnt want to be there no service with a smile and no checking everything was ok with the meal. Wouldn't go back there again....
By far one of the worst restaurants I have visited! Visited with my girlfriend a few weeks back and the lack of management, service, food quality was unbelievable, 90% of the food was frozen, completely wrong drinks order each time, rude staff the list goes on! Give this place a wide berth if you’re planning a quiet night out as fights broke out on two occasions because of the lack of security and dress code! Will not be returning!

Me and my friends came for the first time for one of our birthdays, the staff were very accommodating and friendly the food was lovelywould definitely recommend the lasagne, my friend ordered a specials dish the chicken and chorizo pasta bake and she said it was the best meal she had had in a long time. Friendly staff, we were seated upstairs which was fine. We followed the waitress advice and ordered, nibbles, pasta and main courses. Food was really nice but portions were quite small. I would definitely visit again but order more food. Nice choice of wine.
The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and very helpful, even providing us with hot water to warm up a baby meal. The atmosphere was pleasant, and I would certainly go back and recommend it to others.
Avoid… Avoid!… Avoid!!! Served by rude inexperienced staff, food was a joke frozen nuggets for kids and cold pasta for the adults! Complained and waited another 45 minutes for a slightly luke warm dish, awful.
