This is a fantastic place like no other. The owner seems to know everyone and greets all his customers with a smile. The area is small but well stacked with quality food products and at the back is a small open kitchen where Ambrose, the owner, prepares sandwiches using various kinds of bread or baquetas using a selection of fresh fillings selected by each customer. Lovely little shop in Englefield Green with lots of different foods. Their fresh bread is amazing with lots of variety, breads I've never tried but look forward to try in the future. Their homemade smooties are perfect on a hot day to cool down with.

Great service! They sell pastries, sandwiches, salads, coffee and bread! Everything is so good! Sandwiches and salads have a set price even though you get to decide completely on your own what you want in them! I go here a few times a week!

We buy our bread from Picnic On The Green most days as they have a good selection the best freshly made bread in the village The staff are so helpful friendly remember what their customers normally buy.

What a treasure of a place to buy delicious breakfasts, lunch, tea and to stock up on larder treats. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
