This is coming from an extremely picky person who eats the same pizza place every Saturday because I fear change and trying anything new. I stopped at this place with a friend yesterday because I was in town for a football game located almost directly behind the plaza. I’m not sure if the young lady waiting on us was one of the owners but I felt bad for being short with her and saying we just want a pizza and 2 drinks. I wish I would have told her why we didn’t need to see the menu because we were kind of in a hurry to catch the game. This was my first time at Pie12 and I would rate the experience closer to 4.5 stars. Overall, it was a great experience. I ordered meatballs and a margherita pizza. The meatballs arrived quickly and were piping hot. I consider myself a meatball connoisseur, having grown up in an Italian American household with some fantastic home cooks. These meatballs are the best I've ever had, much better than Slyce, Cristiano's, or even Amici's. The pizza was excellent and very authentic. The wine selection by the glass was also very good. I tried the montepulciano and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The pour was generous, unlike at Slyce or Cristiano's, and paired well with my food choices....
This was our first time trying this restaurant and I have to say, the food was excellent. While a bit expensive for pizza dough, it was definitely authentic. We ordered takeout for dinner and the price per person was between $30 and $50. The food was rated a 5, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 5. Recommended dishes include the Personal Calzone, Margherita Pizza Slice, and Pizza Margherita.
It’s a small sort of mom pop-esque place. Believe me when I say it lives up to the title. The food was incredible, particularly the meatballs. So much so that a year later after I’ve come back down to Florida I had to go back. The staff are great as well. This place really deserves more spotlight, give the meatball appetizer a try! Amazing pizza. Hands down, the best we've ever had. The ingredients are simple but high quality. Their crust is special and I love how they let the crust get a little charred when baking. We got the Americana and the Gustosa. I wish we had tried their pasta. I have a feeling it would be very tasty.

This restaurant serves authentic Italian cuisine prepared by Italian chefs. The pizza is a favorite of my wife, and the meatballs and sauce are fantastic. We visited for dinner and rated the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5.

Amazing food. Great service. They people were so attentive and sweet. The pizza was perfect. And the Cesar salad was the best ever. The croutons were the best I've ever had.
The pizza was incredibly delicious! The people were very nice! Establishment was clean. It was cool to get to see him making the pizza with the dough and stuff too!
