Pier Street Charcoal Chicken

Excellent value for money brilliant portion sizes $6.80 for 1/4 charcoal chicken, chips + a drink . Couldn't speak more highly of the place visited here several times whilst on holiday. It's a little dinky working shop fast food venture which adds to the character this place is all about the food the chicken is immense and the gravy is delicious. It looks fairly dated but is very clean. If visiting Altona would definitely recommend you pop by for a quick bite to eat especially if your on a budget.

This chicken shop is so good! Food is fresh and delicious! It's extremely popular on hot days and so sometimes you could be waiting half an hour, but that's the price of eating somewhere good hey?Strongly recommend for a quick snack or a full meal for the whole family!

We stopped here for lunch and we're delighted by how good the food was and how much we got for 23.95. Fed 3 adults with food to spare. Nice staff too who supplied cutlery and plates. Casual dining. We will be back.

The food here isn't bad, and service is just like any other Charcoal Chicken to be honest, but the thing that makes the chicken feel/taste not as good is the fact how it is a little dry.

Nothing fancy but a great local place to grab some charcoal chicken. The chips are to die for. There's ample seating and it's really inexpensive and consistently good.

One of my favorite places to pickup a bite, my favorite is the Lamb souvlaki. So good! Friendly staff and quick service. Good value for money.
