Pikes Perk Coffee And Tea House

Not Starbucks! I have to hand over three Starbucks to get to Pikes Perk, but his value is the extra bit of travel. I tend to drink and work in coffee shops or read for a long time. The ambience is critical, like coffee, and Pikes Perk offers both. Chairs and seats are comfortable and there is plenty of space even when busy. Coffee selection is nice and delicious too. You have a fair selection of breakfast and lunch and dinner offers. It is best to have a local restaurant with local color.

First Time In. First time into this coffee shop, and I must say that I will be going back. Great variety of coffee drinks and food. The breakfast burrito was made fresh for my order and was very well made; bacon was crispy, hash browns were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Will be going back in the near future. They also have live music on some nights by local bands.

Excellent place to do coffee, tea and some work. The staff is incredibly friendly, they know most of their customers with names, and the new owner Mark is amazing. If you haven't been here last year since he took over, you've really disappeared.

While it's usually busy meeting people and studying, I went in and found it pretty empty. It has a nice cozy atmosphere with great coffee, home brews or chai and lattes.
