Pink Sumo Sushi Sake Cafe

This sushi restaurant in Fairfield came highly recommended and I can attest that it lived up to its reputation. My husband and I visited for a quiet lunch and were impressed by the interior, which was a pleasant surprise compared to the outside. The staff was attentive, ensuring our drinks were refilled promptly and that our food was served in a timely manner. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful and they tasted delicious, offering good value for the price. (We even got our own personal Wasabi, which was a nice touch). The friendly and professional attitude of the staff made our experience even better. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning.

Great spot, obviously popular with cool diverse crowd. Service is impeccable, all the staff appears to work to help each other and extremely attentive. Overall it has a great vibe. Sushi was overall ok, nice presentation. I will definitely stick to sashimi on next visit. We got some sushi rolls like spicy tuna and salmon and was a tad turned off by the minced fish. Other than that it was tasty it has a wide variety for every palate. Definitely would return.

The drinks were strong and the calamari was to die for. I also tried the spider roll which was wrapped in cucumber and was delicious. I followed it up with a shrimp tempura roll. For dessert, we had fried ice cream which was really good. The only downside was that a 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill.

I absolutely adored the atmosphere, the staff was so friendly, and the noodles with fresh vegetables were deliciously flavorful. Can't wait to come back again soon.

I really enjoyed the Spicy Tuna and California Roll at this restaurant, but I wasn't a huge fan of the Spicy Salmon. The Dumpling Soup was just okay.
