I have attended two wine tastings here (so far), the Bordeauxs and Sherries. Really enjoyable evenings and excellent value. Staff are so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. They also endeavoured to find out if the wines were vegan before the evenings, which they were, so all in all, very successful, thank you.
An absolute gem of a place. Authentic surroundings, the food was outstanding, as was the wine. Thank you to the Pipe of Port team. And this clearly is a team that pulls together from start to finish to deliver top service. We had the best evening. Thank you Debbie et al!
An atmospheric basement restaurant and wine bar with excellent food and obviously a great drinks selection. Really efficient and friendly staff our waiter Max was brilliant. Rigorous Covid precautions in place and tables have ample space around them.
Went for Sunday lunch. Great 2 or 3 course menu. Good value and delicious food. The chicken and chestnut pie was delicious. Great wine list and lots of choice for beers, cocktails and spirits. Friendly staff too I would recommend a visit. Réservez une table maintenant
Been going to the Pipe of Port for years. I particularly love the Chicken and Chestnut pie, unfortunately it means that I don't get to try the other lovely things on the menu. I love the pate starter too. Service is excellent too.
this place is a hidden gem! great friendly staff, amazing eating and cheeky cocktails....literal the best bark wellington I ever had, and I have tried a lot! we will definitely return. thanks!
Been going for years,never a disappointing dining experience. Attentive,friendly staff and superior food. My only minor complaint is no coronation chicken as a starter anymore :
