Piper's Landing Restaurant

This was my 1st time having supper supper at Pipers and being from the area and only hearing amazing things about how good the food was I can't explain what took me so long!!We had reservations for 6 people for a get together before Christmas. We were taken in to the beautiful dining room with many unique items tastefully placed through out adding to the ambiance of the waterfront location. Our server was very helpful and had lots of options available to customize each meal. We ordered a variety of meals from roast chicken, seafood platter (like seafood? just order it) and steak. If you are on a strict timeline this place is not for you. If you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere and excellent food this is the place for you. We were seTed at 6:30 and the main course was served by 8pm. The appetizers we had were delicious as were the main courses (we had the blackened haddock and the turkey dinner). Everything about the both main courses was done well even to the dressing which is made with sourdough bread. We didn't have room for dessert!

We were told of this restaurant and decided to check it out. It was welcoming, warm, had great food served by a friendly and helpful waitress. We met Matthias the owner (and chef, I think) and enjoyed chatting to him. We normally don't have appetizers but we were glad we did. We will certainly go again to Piper's Landing on our way through Pictou in the spring.

Stopped in for dinner last night after recommendation from our hotel. Heard we had to wait a bit for meal and we did. Meals were $25-$40 dollars with very generous helpings, way too much for both my husband and I. We really should have shared. Hard to get a doggy bag when vacationing. Might be nice to have smaller portion sizes with lower prices. Réservez une table maintenant

We often go here for a really good dinner to celebrate special occasions. The food is good, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Try the seafood appetizers, and don't miss the duck. Really nice place with great food, attentive staff, and good views of water.

Super staff, super food! I would absolutely recommend !! Portions are large so make sure you go with a good appetite!

Awesome meal as always. Surf and turf was done to perfection. Mushroom caps are an awesome appetizer.
