Found out about this place via their food truck serving enormous and delicious pitas at the Turnhalle. Am very glad they took over the hugely unpopular Greek restaurant at the corner of University and Langgasse, to offer a permanent solution to the lack of interesting middle eastern food in Bern. A wallet- and stomach-friendly joint with a great offering of pita, and a some middle eastern wines too, which deserve discovery. Noisy, friendly, student-y atmosphere but perfectly appropriate for all ages and social levels.

Great, cafetaria style Middle-Eastern/Turkish food. I love the ambience, it feels more like Amsterdam or Berlin than what is common for Bern. You order at the bar, it's a small menu and mid-range prices for Bern or compared to cheaper fast food Döner and Falafel Take aways in town, but way better tasting. It's right across the University, so lots of students.

The vegan options are limited, either a lot of falafel with a bit of hummus with some falafel. Some other options would be nice. I had the hummus plate which was basically half a plate full of hummus (way too much for one person), salad and some falafel. The pita bread is very nice tough! Already cooked food who knows from when...and 2chf per tap water glass...very disappointed about this place

What a place! A pleasure for the mouth! The ingredients were very fresh, everything was very tasty.
