Their a la carte menu is usually very inspired, despite the fact that the restaurant's name suggests that pizza is all they do. You would be mistaken to think that. Instead, try the fried calamari from the seafood selection. The delicate and silky rings, coated lightly, literally melt in your mouth. The excellent value was the main reason we decided to return to this restaurant. During multiple visits, the quality of the food was consistently high, with a classic local service style. The thin crust pizza was delicious, and the extra toppings I ordered were generous, just the way I like them. The meat lovers pizza with extra meats and caramelized onions was particularly outstanding and definitely worth the price compared to a chain like Domino's.
This family-run restaurant has been around for awhile. Their food is basic Italian, but it is so delicious. We were there around after a concert, so the pizza really hit the spot. The salad was fresh and lightly dressed. They also offer gluten-free pizza...crust and vegan cheese at an extra cost. Service is friendly and warm too!

Excellent place to eat with smiling, friendly staff. We ordered chicken mexicana, gnocchi gorgonzla, chicken rissotto and bruschetta. The portions were generous however the risotto could have been creamier and the brushetta a little less oily. But good value for money.
Great food, friendly staff, terrific atmosphere and reasonable prices. No better restaurant in the area. Forget Leichhardt, Forest Lodge is the place for authentic Italian food and hospitality.

Could not fault one thing. All courses were brought out in a timely manner not too quick and not too slow. Large variety of food and it was all amazing
