Pizza Express - Réservation de table

I forgot to check this after visiting at the beginning of this month. I came for the hair and makeup process for my upcoming high time to fleet and wanted to make the best out of my chic face, my fiance and I decided to have a lunch here. the waiter was nice and helped us both ask us about the menu (we were both ordered from the vegan menu). I also enjoyed looking for all the hidden otopus toys around the restaurant. what a great idea for children (and how it turns out, also adult). we had a great food. that was great. we shared our pizzas and both were beautiful. cannot remember the life of me what we have ordered (I think my had artichokes on it). also after eating we both visited the toil...

Booked in advance by some weeks for Christmas Eve. The food was great, the welcome and attitude of the Manager, no so good. We were shown to a table that was unusable as the till was directly next to it and over hanging the table. Imposing and I’m pretty sure I would have banged my head on it. The Manager, insisting the till was not in use, would not move us to another table until I made a fuss arguing that they were busy and that they had been turning people away. The obvious discussions going on between her and the staff in the corner made us feel awkward. As a result we ended up rushing our food and leaving without a desert. The food and staff are always good and it’s been a family fave for years. However, it’s not a cheap dinner, easily £100, and for that I’d expect to be eating in nice surroundings. The floor has been filthy on out last few visits, the staff need to be sweeping the floor after tables leave. The actual restaurant is in serious need of a refurb, it hasn’t had a penny spent on it since it’s opened. It’s very worn, furniture needs replacing, needs a repaint, deep clean etc. I don’t expect to pay £100+ and be eating in the equivalent of a shopping centre food mall. In terms of cleanliness and comfort that’s what it compares to. McDonalds is cleaner and more comfortable.

Dropped in here a few backs with my daughter. We were greeted by one of the waiters who informed us it may be a little slow due to staff shortages. Just the opposite, the service was friendly and efficient. We tried the new app which locates your table. It was really good and even allowed us to add vouchers we had for the restaurant. The manager served us most she was excellent and was brilliant with my teenage daughter. The food was as good as it gets in Pizza Express and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We'll be back! Good service and good food but was strange because I called them at 1pm on Saturday for a table for 4 that same day at 4pm. Was told due to fireworks night they are fully booked from 3pm. We ended up booking online for 2pm instead. Restaurant was empty, infact I left at 4:30pm and we where the only people in the entire restaurant

thanks to all the employees of the pizza express fleet for a fabulous pizzeria party today for my daughter. They and their friends had a wonderful time and the adults loved to watch them have fun.

Service was good, food was OK. Had we not been having a quick dinner before a show, I would have complained about my pizza as it was overdone but others were fine. Réservez une table maintenant
